Statements of Quitting the CCP and Its Affiliated Organizations

() Editor's note: The Epoch Times here publishes direct translations of statements made by Chinese people in renouncing the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its subordinate organizations. Statements such as these are submitted to a website affiliate of the Chinese version of The Epoch Times, Dajiyuan. The movement to renounce, withdraw from, or quit the CCP , called tuidang in Chinese, began in late 2004, soon after The Epoch Times published the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, an editorial series that explores the nature and history of the CCP. The statements offer a rare and candid glimpse of history in the making: the Chinese people turning their backs on the Communist Party, choosing conscience over pragmatism, and peacefully ushering in a future China free of Party rule.

Chinese Quit the CCP and Its Affiliated Organizations

During the Cultural Revolution, my father was beaten to death by the Red Guards. This horrific event implanted an indescribable fear of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in my young heart. However, after I grew up, concerned about my future and survival, I joined the CCP. I still didnt clearly see its true evil nature. But when I saw how corrupt and evil the regime is, and I felt so ashamed for joining such an organization. I didnt pay my CCP membership fees for many years, and I thought this would be my way of quitting the CCP. But after learning the truth I realized that my simply not paying dues did not constitute a real quitting of the CCP. I am happy to declare the Three Quits (Quitting the CCP, CCPs Youth League and CCPs Young Pioneers Team) declaration on the Internet. From the bottom of my heart, I declare to quit this most evil organization which caused so much tragedy for the Chinese people, erase th! e mark o f the evil from my soul, purify myself, and choose a bright future for myself based on the Will of Heaven.

Statement of Quitting CCP and Youth League and Young Pioneers Team

Im a Foreign Language Internet Columnist working for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The name I use to post online comments is pw**n (I purposely omitted two letters here). I declare that, whatever negative comments or blogs I have written on the Internet are purely due to the fact that Im being paid to do so. Nothing I post represents my own true thoughts or political views. I am not against Falun Gong or the Chinese Democratic Movement. I want to make this declaration, and hope in so doing that this statement is a proof of my Three Quits of those organizations.

I declare that I voluntarily quit the CCPs Youth League and Young Pioneers Team

The reason that I want to quit the CCPs Youth League and Young Pioneers Team is not because Ive been influenced by The Epoch Times website. Ive very much disliked the current authoritarian government ever since high school. Ive longed for freedom and democracy ever since. Especially after the June 4th Movement (the Tiananmen Square incident), I came to fully understand that all the suffering that the Chinese people have endured originate from the Chinese Communist Party. Because of this, I criticized the Chinese regime on the increasingly popular Internet for several years after 1999. I was interrogated by the Chinese National Security and the CCP secretary in my company has also talked to me and asked if I practice Falun Gong. Afterwards I was fined 100 RMB by my company.

After I joined the Young Pioneers League, I was no longer able to have my own view on the world and life. I was about to graduate from university when I joined Youth League. Although I filled out an application to join, it was done against my will. I did it because I dont want my private views to affect my jo! b applic ations after graduation. The majority of my classmates are Youth League members, and some are even CCP party members who got good job offers from good companies. I filled out the application to join the Youth League because my university teacher advised us that non CCP/Youth League members will not be accepted by companies. Faced with the possibility of not getting a job after graduation I felt pressured to join. Today I quit the CCPs Youth League and the Young Pioneers. I am so happy that I washed away this filth from my life, and I hereby declare this statement.
